Thinking About Gay Travel To Mexico

There is actually quite a lot of gay travel to Mexico. Homosexuality is legal in the country and there are gay communities in Acapulco, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico City, Tijuana, Guadalajara and gay travel to Cancun. It is a good spot for gay travellers as there are several anti-discrimination laws in place that are followed strictly.

Puerto Vallarta is a particularly good spot for gay travel as the gay nightlife scene is thriving. All the bars in the city are gay friendly and the nightlife can be quite wild and exotic. Some bar and clubs that are particularly designated gay include El Morbo, Paco Paco, Los Balcones, the Ranch, Apaches, Los Amigos and The Palm.

The gay beach is directly on the shoreline and it was nicknamed the Blue Chairs as you will find blue chairs available or lounging up and down the beach. Besides the beach and bars there are also many hiking trails, sailing and visits to lagoons and waterfalls.

Mexico City as a gay destination is very old and can be a great vacation for gay couples. A lot has been done to try to clean up the air pollution and you can visit the Aztec ruins right outside the city as well as see the many historical landmarks, the Basilica and art galleries found within the city. In Mexico City the obvious gay area is the Zona Rosa.

If you are looking to spend your days on the beach then Cancun is your spot. Cancun is the largest vacation spot in Mexico and is located on the Yucatan peninsula. There is all night clubbing and discos, plenty of water sports. You can also get away from the constant crowded beaches and visit the nearby villages. Chichen Itza and Talum can also be visited form Cancun.

If you are put off from visiting Mexico City due to the pollution then Guadalajara is an excellent city of choice. Guadalajara has less crime and pollution then Mexico City. The city is also much more modern and contains many galleries, restaurants, museums and traditional Mexican architecture. For tequila lovers Guadalajara should be your first stop as tequila is the drink of choice.

Mexico is geographical diverse and you can enjoy the beach, rainforests, volcanoes and desert just by visiting. There is a diverse and extensive history to investigate and many fantastic ruins. It is an excellent destination for gay travel as each city has gay friendly areas and some of the gay scenes are quite dominant in the towns.
